Better decisions based on sound intelligence

Plantagenet Consulting Ltd

It can be hard to spot patterns in data and it can be difficult to know what those patterns mean,  This is a modern architectural icon, but you wouldn’t know if from the picture.

Making sense of large sets of numbers

We positively enjoy working through data sets to determine the key trends and messages enshrined in the numbers.  This has lead to our Director being referred to as a “sad puppy” at times, but should give you the confidence to hand over your number crunching needs to us.

Our Director cut her analytical teeth on gas temperature demand data at British Gas, along with data logger data and bias correction of unread gas.  Today her specialties are more learning and skills focused, as shown in the list below:

· Household Survey data

· Employer Survey data

· National Employer Skills Surveys

· Individual Learner Record (ILR) data

· PLASC (pupil level school census)

· Working Futures

· NOMIS

Graphing data can be misleading—is the oil price hike in the second half of this graph a cause for concern or a seasonal pattern?
